I started off as a helper on a job site and have learned both on the job as well in trade schools and industry-training classes over the past 30+ years.  From site prep for new construction, to the last finishing touch on a project; I have experience with every single step of new construction, remodeling, repair and inspection of residential and commercial buildings. I have a class A Contractor's license in Residential and Commercial Building, Electrical and Radon Mitigation, a Master Electrician's license, a Home Inspector's license, as well as certifications for Radon testing and Mitigation.

We provide home and commercial building inspections through Blue Ridge Home Inspection, LLC. This is our inspection division that puts our years of construction knowledge to work for our customers. Unlike other companies, we have years of experience in the construction industry; therefore we rarely have to recommend you have a "professional" evaluate an item or area of concern. We have first-hand real world experience to recommend further evaluation.  It will typically be to determine how extensive a repair is, or what is required to determine how extensive the damage is. This often means that the area needs to be opened up to be able to see the extent of the damage.
